Students in PK thorough Fifth grade come to the library weekly for information literacy instruction, story time and to check out library books. 

Our librarian, Mrs. Hicks has been at Kocurek for over two decades. She received her undergraduate degree in Theatre Education from Emerson College. And she obtained her master's in Library and Information Science from UT Austin. 

Her educational philosophy is that all students will love reading. It is just a matter of introducing them to the right books.
